We're partnering with a school district in Maricopa County, Arizona to hire a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the 2026-2027 school year.
This full-time opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact supporting students in an educational setting. Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help students develop the functional, motor, sensory, and self-care skills they need to succeed academically, socially, and independently throughout the school day.
Position Details:

Location: Onsite in Maricopa County, AZ

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

School Year: 2026-2027
Responsibilities:
-
Provide occupational therapy services to students
-
Implement individualized treatment plans and interventions under the supervision of the school-based OT
-
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
-
Track and document student progress in accordance with school and district guidelines
-
Assist in adapting classroom environments and activities to meet student needs
-
Participate in team meetings, IEP planning, and student progress discussions
Qualifications:
-
Current Arizona COTA license
-
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
-
Knowledge of occupational therapy interventions and techniques appropriate for students
-
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
-
Ability to support students' functional, academic, and social development
