We're partnering with a school in Fort Bend County, TX to hire dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow.
The Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow supports students by providing evidence-based speech and language services that enhance communication, academic participation, and social development across school settings. This role collaborates closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students reach their full potential.
Position Details:
- Start Date: 8/12/26
- End Date: 5/26/27
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, school hours
- Grade Levels: HS, JH, and Elementary
- Location: In Person, 40 hours
- School Year: 2026/2027
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and district guidelines.
- Conduct assessments, collect data, and document student progress to inform instructional and therapeutic decisions.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to support student outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and needs.
- Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to complete Clinical Fellowship requirements.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Eligibility for Texas Speech Language Pathology licensure and Clinical Fellowship status.
- Knowledge of speech, language, voice, fluency, and pragmatic disorders in school-aged populations.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students across elementary, junior high, and high school settings.
- Commitment to ethical practice and professional growth.
