Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Grade Levels: Elementary and/or Middle School
Location: Aurora, Colorado, On-site, 40 hours per week, School Year: 2026-2027
Special Education Teacher - EC Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to create inclusive classroom activities.
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages social interaction and participation.
- Adapt instructional strategies and materials for students with disabilities.
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with educational standards.
Special Education Teacher - EC Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado special education teaching license (all roles require EC licensure).
- Experience in inclusive classroom settings or related special education environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff and support teams.
- Strong understanding of special education laws and accommodations.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to student success.
