We're partnering with a school in Maricopa County, AZ to hire a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist.

The Speech Language Pathologist supports students by assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. This role plays a critical part in helping students access their education, build functional communication skills, and succeed academically and socially within the school community.

Position Details:

• Start Date: 8/3/2026
• End Date: 10/9/2026
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, full-time hours
• Grade Levels: K-12
• Location: In Person, 40 hours
• School Year: 2026/2027

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs related to articulation, language development, fluency, voice, and communication.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals aligned with educational standards and student needs.
• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings across K-12 grade levels. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student progress and classroom success.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with state and federal special education requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and other school-based meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active or eligible Arizona Speech-Language Pathology license and appropriate state certification for school-based practice.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school or pediatric setting. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
