A nurse opportunity is available with our client for 2026 ESY in Providence County, Rhode Island. This is an on-site contract assignment with a schedule of Monday-Thursday, 8:00-11:30 (bus-ride scheduling pending).

Position Details:

• Start Date: July 6, 2026
• End Date: August 6, 2026
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00-11:30 (bus-ride scheduling pending)
• Grade Levels: Middle School
• Location: On-Site
• School Year: 2026 ESY

Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support for a student with complex medical needs during the school day.
• Track the student's health status and respond promptly to changes in condition while on campus.
• Administer prescribed medications and support the safe use of required medical equipment.
• Act quickly and appropriately in urgent situations, following school-based emergency needs as they arise.
• Support safe participation in learning activities by coordinating care needs throughout the day.

Qualifications:

• Active nursing licensure as an RN or LPN (as applicable to the assignment).
• Experience supporting individuals with complex medical needs in a structured setting.
• Ability to safely administer medications and manage student-specific medical equipment.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during medical emergencies.
• Ability to work on-site in a school setting for the ESY schedule provided.
