We're partnering with a school in Will County, Illinois to hire dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst supports students with behavioral, social, and emotional needs by designing and overseeing evidence-based behavior intervention plans. This role collaborates closely with educators, families, and support staff to promote positive student outcomes and a supportive school environment across the district.
Position Details:
- Start Date: 8/10/26
- End Date: 5/21/27
- Schedule: Full Time
- Grade Levels: District-wide
- Location: In Person, 37.5 hours per week
- School Year: 2026/2027
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to identify student needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans using applied behavior analysis principles.
- Provide direct and indirect behavioral support to students across school settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to ensure consistent implementation of behavior strategies.
- Train and support school staff in evidence-based behavioral practices and data collection methods.
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain required documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with state, district, and ethical standards related to behavioral services.
Qualifications:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in school-based or educational settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles, functional assessments, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with staff and families.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
