We're currently seeking a compassionate and dependable School Nurse (RN) to support students in a school-based setting in Maricopa County, AZ for the 26/27 school year.
This contract opportunity is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Maricopa County, Arizona. This is an on-site role with a Monday-Friday schedule, supporting school-based health services in a student-facing setting.
Position Details:
- Start Date: Jul 31, 2026
- Schedule: Monday - Friday (up to 40 hours).
- Grade Levels: All grade levels.
- Location: On-Site, Maricopa County, AZ
- School Year: 2026/2027
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day nursing care to students by evaluating health concerns and responding to illness or injury.
- Administer medications as ordered and support ongoing care for students with chronic health needs.
- Develop and carry out individualized student health plans in coordination with families and school staff.
- Serve as a health resource for students, caregivers, and staff by communicating guidance and education as needed.
- Maintain a consistent on-site presence to support school operations and student wellness throughout the week.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Current Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- At least two years of clinical nursing experience (pediatrics preferred).
- Current Adult and Child CPR certification.
- Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
